Job Title: Nonprofit Operations Manager
Organization: Ohio Campus Compact (OCC), 615 N. Pearl Street, Granville OH 43023
Type: Part-time hourly employee position, 25-30 hours per week M-F, flex-time between 9am5pm

Position reports to: Ohio Campus Compact Executive Director

Ohio Campus Compact (OCC) is a statewide non-profit coalition of 40 college and university presidents and their campuses working to promote and develop the civic purposes of higher education. The position is hosted by Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Operations Manager Responsibilities
● Facilitate communication between OCC and its member institutions and other groups or
individuals associated with our programming;
● Oversee recruitment of new campuses and the annual membership renewal process;
● Maintain and update databases/contact information of member institutions and donors;
● Develop social media content and communication strategies;
● Provide logistical assistance and strategic planning to campuses and OCC for events,
trainings and webinars;
● Support AmeriCorps Student Resource Center program initiatives and staff;
● Facilitate communication with the Board of Directors and Advisory Council;
● Answer OCC main phone line and provide support to Executive Director for inquiries from
member campuses and community partners;
● Schedule appointments and meetings for Executive Director, as needed;
● Coordinate other OCC scheduling and logistics and maintain inventory of office supplies;
● Assist staff with other administrative tasks, as needed.

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree, required.
● Proven leadership in the nonprofit or higher education sector(s).
● Demonstrated track record of successful project/program coordination.
● Strong organizational skills.
● Proven ability to create and sustain strategic partnerships.
● Demonstrated success in working with diverse stakeholders and state and national
networks.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
● Knowledge or experience with Campus Compact and its civic mission.
● Strong interest and experience in community service/service-learning.
● Knowledge and interest in working with higher education professionals.
● Experience with event planning, social media platforms, and communications.
● Experience using Canva, Constant Contact, MS Office, and Google Drive.

Technical Skills
This position will utilize an office-based Mac desktop, and candidates should possess the ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, and Google Drive products.

Work Environment
Small, hardworking, passionate staff committed to increasing college student participation in community and civic engagement by building a collaboration of campuses. Work space is in a small cabin based at Denison University in Granville, Ohio and will move to The Ohio State University Newark campus in Newark, Ohio in August 2022. Occasional meetings, campus visits, and hosting of professional development at sites throughout Ohio. Convenience and
