Student Conference Proposals

We encourage proposals from teams of students, faculty, staff, administrators and community partners. Proposals should clearly address our theme, Dream the Possible: Strengthening Our Communities Through Service and Social Justice. We encourage a variety of formats for presentations and participation (such as panels, workshops, skill-shares, multi-media, etc.)

We strongly encourage students to apply to present.

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: OCTOBER 7, 2009

Possible presentation themes include (but are not limited to): Alternative Breaks and short term service trips, creating large campus volunteer events, leadership development/personal development, community service programming skills, using volunteer skills after college, activism, international service, spotlight on the Bonner Program, spotlight on the M3C and Columbus Foundation Citizen-Scholar Fellowship programs, national service (VISTA, etc.), and working in the non-profit sector.
