Jason Bricker-Thompson, Director of Civic Engagement at Hiram College, is a founding board member of the Hiram Farm Living and Learning Community, an organization serving adults on the autism spectrum in Northeast Ohio.
“Thanks to assistance from Ohio Campus Compact, Hiram College has developed a sustained collaboration with this unique organization sharing diverse resources with the farm, including a grant from Ohio Campus Compact’s Pay-It-Forward student philanthropy program, the establishment of a community garden, and the development of a food access program that educates about poverty and provides fresh, local, organic produce to an area food bank from the farm.”
